This workshop built on the scientific recommendations on quality of life that emerged from its successful predecessor the FORUM project. The aim was to develop these recommendations in more detail, and use them as a basis for developing potential transnational collaboration in this field.

Funded research projects

The European Joint Call for Research Applications in Ageing logo Research Area on Ageing is pleased to announce that six multinational multi-disciplinary research projects have been funded by Europe's first joint research programme in the ageing field.

The successful proposals, comprising researchers from Europe and North America, responded to a pioneering call for multidisciplinary research applications on "Active and Healthy Ageing Across the Life Course". For more information click here.
