Type of institution
EvEn is a research group working in assessment and ageing formed by more than 20 researchers from several Spanish and foreigner reserach institutions.
The main objetive is the development a knowledge base on ageing and the development of instruments, measure and indicators for assessing the aged, age and ageing.
Main research areas
Assessment of Residential Settings for the Elderly.- Psychosocial programs for improving elderly social efficacy - Quality of Life for older persons in different contexts. Active and healthy ageing: longitudinal studies.- Active ageing promotion program: "Vital Ageing"- Active ageing in the very old. Learning potential and cognitive plasticity in healthy, mild cognitive imparement individual and Alzheimer disease patients. Images about ageing, discrimination and stereotype threat.
