Description
The Social Security Institute heritages the traditions and pension insurance practice since its initiation in 1886, following different political regimes in Bulgaria. The security system for the time being includes new philosophy and principals of the three pillars pension model on the basis of the Code of obligatory pension insurance. The process of improvement and adaption of the system is facing the emergence of the country from the social and economic crisis.
Aims
To develop and improve the insurance system and make studies on the process of ageing and resources.
