Summary of key aims

Aims at funding of basic and applied research projects, open to all scientific disciplines in science and humanities. The key aim is promoting cooperation in research and common use of research infrastructure (data base, collection, unique research infrastructure etc.). The aim is to produce knowledge in certain fields, to raise the overall quality of research, by promoting interdisciplinary approach, and to establish and strengthen the knowledge base within the field concerned.
