Summary of key aims

The aim of the funding priority is to intensify research on primary prevention and health promotion in close cooperation with suppliers / makers of prevention. In the new project concepts and programs for prevention of diseases are being developed and tested. In addition, quality and effectiveness are examined by existing prevention measures (evaluation). In order to support development and identification of effective, practical and well-usable preventive services can be achieved. The earliest possible access to effective actions for all population groups will be ensured through close cooperation between prevention providers, such as health insurance, and researchers. Primary prevention and health promotion should be improved through targeted, high-quality research.
