Summary of key aims

The programme aims at informing people about health issues, that is to enhance self responsibility and the readiness to prevent illness. Research projects are to provide the scientific knowledge that is to be transformed in common knowledge. Research issues are for example: the specific immunostatus of elderly people and their vaccination, the falls prevention and a working group on geriatric medicine.
