Tzvi Dwolatzky is the Director of the Geriatric Department and the Memory Clinic at the Mental Health Center in Beersheva, Israel. He is a graduate of the Witwatersrand University Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa, and entered the field of Geriatric Medicine soon after graduating. Prior to his current position, he has directed a large nursing home in Jerusalem, and was a senior geriatrician in the Israel Ministry of Health and at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. He is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and is involved in clinical research in the field of cognition and the neurodegenerative dementias. He has particular interest in the development of computerized methods for neuropsychological assessment and cognitive training, as well as in medical education. He is the chairman of the Israel Psychogeriatric Society and is the secretary of the Israel Geriatric Society.
